A lot of people end up stuck in front of a screen. Whether you’re working from home, or in the office, even if you’re working elsewhere, you can end up sitting at a desk looking at your computer or tablet a lot. It might be that you work in a shop using a till screen or use a laptop out and about as you’re meeting clients. It can be a little cumbersome and tiresome. If you run your own business, you want to be giving your best all the time. Some people cope fine with a screen, others struggle. ALWAYS THINK ABOUT COMFORT
When you get sucked into work, it can be easy to forget about comfort. Easy to lose grip on how your back, hands, neck and shoulders feel. It’s only when the aches start do you notice. You’d be far more productive if you focused on being comfortable as the aches and pains won’t set in and hurt your work output later on. It can allow you to call contacts and suppliers, visit warehouses or business locations and take time to speak to people in person. Completing daily tasks is why business help can be so beneficial. The amount of people who don’t take breaks is obscene. Not only that, but a lot of people will take their break in front of the screen. Try to get away from your desk. Go for a walk and unwind. Go and sit somewhere else to eat your lunch or grab a drink. It might be a breakroom; it might be on a wall outside in the sun. Wherever it is, make sure it isn’t in front of the screen in your office. If you’re hard-pressed, take a phone with you and make some work calls that need to be made or do something else which doesn’t involve a screen. Getting breaks makes working easier because you’ll feel refreshed and ready to tackle issues and problems with a fresh outlook when you come back to your desk.
