It is also possible that you have been grinding your teeth throughout the night without realising. Griding is quite common if your teeth aren’t sitting right in your mouth. You can think about exploring orthodontic treatment. Alternatively, if this is beyond your budget or you don’t want to spend a lot of time fixing your teeth, you might also want to think about investing in a mouthguard. These are more cost-effective and protect your teeth through the night. Mouthguards can also stop additional issues caused by grinding your teeth, such as headaches.
