The concept is relatively straightforward – it means that you will allow yourself to worry about something whenever the issue occurs – but you will only worry about it once before working towards a practical resolution. Worrying once enables you to set your feelings free but not get too caught up in them.

Keep a journal

Journaling may have fallen out of fashion in recent years, but it is a great way to process your feelings and emotions. Sometimes, when we write something down, we gain a clearer understanding and work towards letting go of the feelings much quicker. Furthermore, it gives you a detailed log of triggers – so you know what to avoid in the future. 

Get plenty of sleep

In general, you can always benefit from getting more sleep. When you are well-rested, your mind processes the world around you much quicker, and you have higher energy levels that can see you through the day. We default to this position often for the wrong reason, as feelings of stress and anxiety will only continue to build if you ignore them.
