It’s that time again! Another year has passed since I decided to give up alcohol. Year two was not without its challenges, but I continue to believe that I am gaining more from my current lifestyle than I ever did while I was still drinking. This post could have filled an entire book – and maybe it will be one day (I hope!) — but, for now, I will keep it short by quickly sharing the three lessons I’ve learned from living two years alcohol-free. I love being in my head I used to think that being in my head was the worst and most detrimental space I could exist. I no longer feel that way, because my mind is clear and my anxiety is managed through better coping mechanisms.
